E., FFtUM THE NORTH CURB LINE OF LAMAR AVENUE TO THE NORTH CURB LINE OF EAST I-GUSTOiV STREET, A PAVING WIDTH OF 30 FEET; ALSO BEGINNING AT THE INTERSECTICN OF THE WEST HOUNDARY LINE OF 31ST STREET, N. E., C7N EAST HJUSTON STREET, A DISTANCE OF 150 FEET EAST, A 6VIDTH OF 30 FEET; WITHIN THE LIMITS HERE- SNBELOW DESCRIBED, AND OF OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO; DETERMIINING AND FIXING THE FORTION OF SAID COSTS PROFOSFD TO BE A5SESSED AGAINST AND PAID BY SAID ABUTTING PRQPERTY AND THE REAL AND TRUE UWNERS THcREOF UR`}N EACH TRACTt AND THE FORTIUN Gr SAID CX7STS TO BE PAID BY THEE CITY OF PARIS UPON EACH TRACT; DET'ERMINING THE NECESSITY ROR LEVYING SUCH ASSESSMENTS FOR THE PART OF SAID COSTS APPORTIONED AGAINST THE riBUTTING PROPERTY aND THE REAL AND TRUE OWNER5 THEREOF; ORDERING AND SETTING A HEARING OF THEREAL AND TRUE OWNERS OF SAID ABUTTING PROPERTY AND ALL OTHERS INTERESTED IN SAID ABUTTING PRQPERTY UR IN TI-iE PROCEEDINS AND CQNTRACT GONCERNING SAID ASESSMENTS, PROCEEDINGS APdD IMPROVEMENTS; DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY OF Pl-+RIS TG GIVE NDTICE OF SikID HEARING qS REQUIRED BY LAW OF THE STATE OF TEXtiS AND THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF PARIS; AND PROVIDTNG tiN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OJUNCSL OF THE CITY OF PARIS$ TEXAS: Section 1. The City Council of the City of Paris, Texas, hereby finds and determines; (a) That the City Council of the City of Paris, Texas, has heretofore by ordinance duly enacted on the llth day of November, A. D., 1957, determined the necessity for and ordered the improvement of East Tudor Street, frorn the East Boundary Line of 17th Street, N. E. to the VJest Boundary Line of 20th Street, N. E.; 25th Street, S. W., from the South Bourd ary Line of West Sher man Street to the North Boundary Line of West Austin Street; and a street from the North Curb Line of Lamar Avenue to the North Curb Line of East Houston Street, on 31st Street, N. E., a paving width of 30 feet; and another tract beginning at the intersection of the West Boundary Line of 31st Street, N. E., on East Houston Street, East a distance of 150 feet, a street width of 30 feet; in the manner and aecording to the plans and specifications ther2for, which plans and specifications have heretofore been approved by the City Council. (b) That a notice duly executed in the name of the City of Paris, Texas, of the enactment of said above described ordinance, has heretofore been filed with the County Clerk of Lamar County, Texas, the county in which said City of Paris is situated. (c) That said City Gouncil, aftEr having duly advertised for bids in the manner required by law and the Charter of said City, did award the contract for said improvements to Roy L. Williamson, upon its lowest and best bid, and said contract, which is dated March 7th , 1958, has been executed by said bidder and by said City, the execution of which contract by the City was au- thoxized by resolution heretofore passed on the 27th day of February, A. D., 1958 by said City Council; and the perforrnance bond required by law in said contract has been properly furnished by said bidder, and approved by and accepted by the City Council, all as required by law and the Charter of said City. (d) That the City Council has caused the Director of Public Works to prepare and file estimates of the costs of such improvements and the amounts per front foot to be assessed against the property abutting said streets within the limits defined, and the real and true owners thereof; and the Director of Public Works has heretofore filed said estimates and his statement of other matters relating thereto with said City Council, and the same has been received, examined, and approved by said City Council. Section 2. The written statement and report of the Director of Public Works, heretofore filed with the City Council, showing all of the improvements on said streets within the limits defined above, 5howing the amounts per front foot prpposed to be assessed against the abutting property and the real and true .
