ORDINANCE NQ. 1444 AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING THREE MENIBERS OF THE EQUALIZA- TION BOARD OF THE CTTY OF PARIS TO SEKVE FOR THE CURRENT TAX- ABLE YE.AR, ESTABLISHING THE TIN1E FOR THE FIRST MEETING OF THE EQUALIZATION BQARD, ESTABLISHING THE RATE OF FAY FQR THE MEM- BERS QF SAID BOARD, AND FftOVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT aRDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL QF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That W. P. Garrett , C. S. Braswell , and au rig $ each and a o w om are residents o t e City o Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and qualified voters and real property owners in said City, be, and they are hereby appointed as the Board of Equalization of the City of Paris for the current taxable year. Section 2. The time of the meeting of said Equaliza- tion Board is hereby fixed for the 2nd day of June, A. D., 1958. Section 3. The regular place of ineeting of and for said Equalization Board is hereby fixed and established as and at the Council Room in the Municipal Building in the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas. Section 4. The rate of pay for each such appointed member of said Equalization Board for the current taxable year is hereby established at the rate of Ten Dollars (y10.00) per day, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and di- rected to make payment out of the City funds to such members at such rate of pay of Ten Dollars (P10.00) per day. Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage. Fassed and adopted this 12th day of May, A.
