BE IT GRDAINEB BY THE CITY (x.tJNCIL OF THF CI1Y OF PARIS: Section 1. That a necessity exists fcr the improvement of those cextain portions of the public streets hereinafter listed, by scarifying the existing flexible base, adding additzonal flexible base where needed, ,hapina and cam- pacting the flexible base, priming the surface with asphalt, applying a wearing surface of asphalt anc covex store, ana rclling the surface and brooming the same after the aFplication of the cover stone, anc such improvements are hereby vrdered, and the pc:ticns of the pu}alic streets to be so improved being desig- natea and defined as follows, to-wit: (1) 13th Street, S. E., frorn the N. B. Line of Clzrksville Street to the S. B. Line of Lamar Nvenue. (2) 13th Street, N. E., from the N. B. Line of Lamar avenue tc the S. B. Line af East Houston Street. Sectien 2. Said streets and pcrticns thereef shall be improved and finished as set oUt in Section 1, above. Section 3. That the City Manager has filed an estimate of the costs of thE above improvements, the same to be done by the rorces of the City of Paris, and has estimated the ccst of approx.imately sixty-five cents (65¢) per front foot for said i.mprovements, and in addition the use of machinery now ovm ed by the City of Paris. Section 4. The City Council of the City of Paris deems it advisable and hereby determines to proceed under and in exercise of the powers, terms) and provisions of Article 1105b, R.C.S.9 1925p and the pravisions of the Charter of the City of Paris adcpting said statute o: the State cf Texas. Sectien 5. The cvsts of said improvements shull be paid as fellows: (a) ThE City of Faris shGll pay all costs of any necessary drainage installaticns and all cf the additional costs in excess of fifty cents (504) oer centerline front foot on said project. (b) The remainder of the costs of such improvementsv in the amount of fifty cents (50fl per centerline front foot shall be assessed against the respective abuttina pro- perties and the real and true owners thereGf in accoraance with the statutes of Texas and the Charter of the City of Faris herein referred to. When the improvements herein ordered for the street designated above, and porticr<s thereof, have been cornpleted and accepted by the City of Faxis, the amount of the assessment against each property abutting thereon, and the real and true owner thereof, shEll be and become payable in five (5) equal annual in - stallments, due respectively thirty (30) days after cne (1), two (2), three (3), four (4), and five (5) years from the date of acceptance by the City, together with interest on each installment from said date of acceptance until paid, at the xate of six per cent (6,%) per annum,
