City Council Meeting
June 19, 2001
Page 2

IV. Discussion, review, and possible action regarding other cities' and the
City of Paris policy on private hangars including insurance and ground
lease.
The Board discussed the lease terms and moved the lease at Cox be
$0.12 per year ground use fee adjusted every five years for CPI with a
twenty five year lease. The motion was made by Vic Ressler and
seconded by J. W. Ashmore. The motion passed unanimously.

A further motion was made by Col. Ashmore and seconded by Victor
Abeles that a lease of 25 years be negotiated ifa private hangar is built
that is 5000 square feet or less; that a lease of 30 years be negotiated if
a private hangar is built that is between 5,001 square feet and 20,000
square feet; and the lease term would have to be negotiated with the
city if a private hangar in excess of 20,001 square feet were built. The
motion passed five to zero.

The board recommends the City look at their "umbrella" policy as to
coverage of private hangars.

V. Status of the RAMP Grant including painting of Hangar H and security
cameras.

The prisoners have worked two weeks preparing the hangar for
painting. Painting should start in the next two weeks. Color will be the
same blue as the other blue hangars at the airport.

Mike Boswell has the low bid for the security cameras and should start
on the installation in the next two weeks.

VI.
