Discussion, review, and possible action regarding other cities' and the <br /> City of Paris policy on private hangars including insurance and ground <br /> lease. <br /> The Board discussed the lease terms and moved the lease at Cox be <br /> $0.12 per year ground use fee adjusted every five years for CPI with a <br /> twenty five year lease. The motion was made by Vic Ressler and <br /> seconded by J. W. Ashmore. The motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br />A further motion was made by Col. Ashmore and seconded by Victor <br />Abeles that a lease of 25 years be negotiated ifa private hangar is built <br />that is 5000 square feet or less; that a lease of 30 years be negotiated if <br />a private hangar is built that is between 5,001 square feet and 20,000 <br />square feet; and the lease term would have to be negotiated with the <br />city if a private hangar in excess of 20,001 square feet were built. The <br />motion passed five to zero. <br /> <br />The board recommends the City look at their "umbrella" policy as to <br />coverage of private hangars. <br /> <br />V. Status of the RAMP Grant including painting of Hangar H and security <br /> cameras. <br /> <br />The prisoners have worked two weeks preparing the hangar for <br />painting. Painting should start in the next two weeks. Color will be the <br />same blue as the other blue hangars at the airport. <br /> <br />Mike Boswell has the low bid for the security cameras and should start <br />on the installation in the next two weeks. <br /> <br />VI. Status of, review of, and possible action regarding the self-service <br /> pumps at Cox Field. <br /> <br />It was reported that this items was tabled by the City Council and will <br />be considered in the July council meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
