URDINANCE N0. 13,34 . <br />WHEREA5, The City of Paris owns approximately 2 acres of land <br />situated on Sanders• Creek and located about 12-L Miles North West from the <br />City of Paris, being a part of the J. E. Doss Headright survey, which <br />property was originally purchased by and conveyed to said City for gravel <br />pit purposes in 1928; and, <br />WI-iEREAS, it appears that such 2 acres of land contains no gravel <br />deposits which may be econorriically recovered; and, <br />WHEREAS, by resolution adopted by the City Council on November 8) <br />1954, the City Manager of the City of Paris was directed to advertise for <br />bids for the sale of said above mentioned land by the publication of notice <br />of such sale one time in the Paris News at least thirty (30) days prior to <br />the regular meeting of the Council on December 13, 1954; and, <br />;1iHERgA,S, it appears that such notice was by said City Manager <br />caused to be lawfully published and given as directed; andt <br />, ~ <br />A L I x 6WAIA1,/IrG/ylq/n ~j of <br />WHEREAS, the bid of F <br />Paris, Lamar County, Texa6 for the purchase of said lands and premises was <br />received on this 13th day of December, 1954, which was the highest bid <br />therefor, and is a fair and reasonable price therzfor and in an amount in <br />excess of the present market value of the same, now therefore; <br />
