QRDINANCE N0. 1344• AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING THREE (3) MENBERS OF THE EQUALIZATION BOARD OF THE CITY OF PARIS TO SERVE FOR THE GURRENT TAXABLE YEARi ESTABLISHING THE TIME FOR THE FIRST NEETING OF TI-EEQUALIZATION BOARD; ESTABLISHING THE RATE OF PAY FOR THE IuEiUBE13S OF SAID BOARD;IIND PROVIDING AN EFFECT- IVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY QDUNCIL OF TI-E CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That Charles Shaeffer, gud Carlock, and J. Nat Thompson, each and all of whom are residents of the City of parisg Lamar County, Texas, and qualified voters and real property owners in said City be, and they are hereby, appointed as the Board of Equalization of the City of paris for the current taxable year. Section 2. The time of the meeting of said Equalization Board is hereby fixed for the lst day of ,)une, 1955. gection 3. The regular place of ineeting of and for said EqNalization goard is hereby fixed and established as and at the Council Room in the Municipal Building in the City of Parisg Lamar County, Texas. gection 4. The rate of pay for each such appointed members of said Equalization Board for the current taxable year is hereby established at the rate of Ten Dollars ($10.00) per day, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to make payment out of City funds to such members at such rate of pay of Ten Dollars ($10.00) per day. gection 5.
