OWNERS AND TO FILE S,41ME WITH THE CITY CLERK AND TO CURRECT THE MAP OF THE CITY OF PARIS SO AS TC ADD SUCH TERRITbRY THERETO; AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY ASSESSOR AND COLLECTOR OF TAXES TO LIST AI.L PROPERT.T.FS THEREIN AND PLACE SANfE ON THE TAX ROLLS OF THE CITY OF PARIS u'IIdD I-EREAFTER d1SSESS THE SAME FOR TA7CES IN ACCORDANCE WITH LAW. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CAUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the following described territory in Lamar County, Texas, lying adjacent to the present boundary limits of the City of Paris, be, and the same is hereby, annexed to the City of paris and admitted into the corpoxation of such City, and such property is hereby made and constituted a part and portion of the Clty of paris and the boundary limits of said City are hereby extended so as to in- clude and embrace said territory and to conform to the same as here- inafter set out, to-wit; geginning in the present N.B. Line of the paris City Limits at a point 200 feet East of the E. B. Llne of 27th N. W. gtreet; Thence North parallel with and 200 feet East of said E. B. Line of 27th N. W. Street to a point 200 feet North of the N. B. Line of West Campbell gtreet; Thence East parallel with and 200 feet North of said N. B. Line of West CampAell gtreet to a point 200 feet West of the W. B. Line of 28th N. W. gtreet; Thence South parallel with and 200 feet West of said W. B. Line of 28th N. W. gtreet to the N. B. Line of the present City Limits; Thence East with said present City Limit Line to the place of beginning. The inhabitants within said annexed territory are and shall hereafter be entitled to enjoy all the rights, privileges and immunities of citizens of the City of paris, and all laws, ordinances, rules, resolu- tions, acts and regulations of said City now in force in said City of paris, and that may be hereafter passed, shall be and are in full force and effect in said territory hereby annexed and admitted. Section 2. That the present boundaries of Ward Three of the City of Paris be and the same are hereby extended so as to embrace and include the hereinabove described property and the same is hereby incorporated in said Ward Three of the City of paris. Section 3. The City Engineer is hereby instructed to make a complete survey of the above described territory and to make the boundaries thereof by proper monuments; and to survey, establish and open, under the direction of the City Manager, all streets, roads, alleys and ways in said territory dedicated to public use; and to make and file with the City Clerk a complete map of said newly annexed territory showing all property lines, lots and tracts therein2 together with the names
