"ARTICLE I. IN GENERAL <br />Sec. 12-1. Composition of department. <br />The fire department of the City shall be composed of the fire chief, fire <br />marshal/assistant fire chief and forty-nine (49) members classified as follows: <br />(1) Four (4) deputy fire chiefs. <br />(2) Twelve (12) fire engineers. <br />(3) Six (6) firefighter drivers. <br />(4) Twenty-seven (27) firefighters. <br />Section 3. That by a supermajority vote of _ ayes and _ nays, the City Council <br />voted to suspend the rule requiring two readings before adoption of this ordinance. <br />Section 4. That this ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage of the <br />first reading and publication as required by law. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED on first and final reading this 9th day of July, 2012. <br />A.J.
