(a) It shall hereafter be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to move or cause to be moved a house or building from one looation to another with- in the city of or to move a house or building froM without the city to a locsation with the city or to move a house or building within the city to a point outside the oity vrithout first secui-ing a permit therefor as hareafter provided, (b) It shall hereafter be uxilawful for any person, firm or corporation to wreck or dismantle any house or building, the value of vrhiah exaeeds within the city of i : without securing a permit therEfor as hereafter providede section 2. Any person, firm or oorparation desiring to move a hause or building as provided in Seotion 1(a) of this ordinance shall deposit tivith the of the City of the sum of Dollars upon oondition and with the ezpress agreement~t a^t the city is to retain sa3d money For a period of ° days after the hnuse or building reaches its new loaation. If w3thin said time it shall appear to the governing body of the City of that any datriage has been done to the streets or• any vriros, or any trees, or any other private or pubiic property, in the opinion of said governing boc3y, then the governing body sha11, by resolution, assess the s.mount of auch damage, sfter vielNing the alleged property injured; either in f avor of the City of , or tho owner of the property in front of whicsh the trees or o+her ixijured pr~p~ rty may be situ xted or the oNmer of any private property alloged have been in3ured; and thE fincling of said governing body sha11 be final. Should the upon compliance with this ordinanae by any person, firm or oorpore,tion deo line to issue suah permit, an appeal may be had to the gove.rning body of the City of which may,, if it deems propAr, by re solu tion, authorize sucsh use of the street, avenue or alley.
