AND ON A PORTION OF EAST K?,UF"~'lAN STREET, <br />PROVIDING A TI14IE LIMIT FOR PARKING V:h~iICLES TH ~R~CION AND <br />PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION TFiERyOF. <br />OF PARISBL IT ORDAIN~ BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />: <br />1. The word "vehicle" as used herein shall mean <br />any device upon which or by which any person or property 3;x <br />is or may be transported upon the highways, streets or <br />roads, except those operated upon rails or traeks. <br />2. The w ord "park" when used herein shall mea n <br />the standing of a vehicle, whether occupied or not, other <br />than a temporary stopping of such vehiele f or the purpose <br />of and while actually engaged in loading or unloading pas- <br />sengers or merchandise, or an involuntary stopping of the <br />vehicle by reason of causes beyond the control of the owner <br />or operator oP such vehicle. <br />3. The words "parking space" as used herein shall <br />mean the space or sectiofi of the street adjacent to the <br />curbing and bounded and indicated by painted lines upon the <br />surPace oP the street, extending from the curbing into the <br />street. <br />4. That hereafter it shall be unlawful for the <br />owner or operator of any vehicle to park such vehicle for <br />a longer continuous period than fifteen (15) minutes on that part o2' <br />the East side of First 5treet S. E. described as Pollovvz: <br />Beginning at a point twelve (12) feet North <br />of the intersection of lst 13treet S. E. with <br />East Yaufman -3treet and egtending North Por <br />a distance oP 58 feet. <br />5. That hereafter it shall be unlawful Por the <br />owner or opera tor of any vehic le to park such v ehic le f or a <br />longer oontinuous period than fifteen (15) minutes on that <br />part af East Kaufman Street described as follows: <br />Beginning at a point on the North side of <br />Last Kaufman ~:3tree t twenty (20) feet East <br />of the intersection of said street with <br />4'irst "Dtreet S. E. and extending East 36 <br />feet. <br />6. Farking spaces on the portions of the streets <br />here inabove speciPied shall be indicated by painted lines on <br />the surfaces of such streets. <br />7. It shall be unlawful for any owner or ope-rator <br />of a vehicle to fail, refuse or neglect to park within said <br />designated parking spaces. <br />8. hny person violating any of the provisions oP <br />this ordinance shall be guiZty of a misdemeanor and shall upon <br />
