<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />County S(?^'.J.Jer. <br /> <br />65 <br /> <br />and it shall be his, duty to call out from time to time as many per- <br />~ns subject to street duty as shall ,be necessary, and shall see that <br />everyone performs the full amount of service required by this or- <br />dinance. <br />SEC. 5. The said street commissioner shall be under the gen- <br />eral control of the public improvement committee. <br />SEC. 6. The street commissioner shall file, at each regular <br />meeting, a written report of his operations, showing the names of <br />all persons that have performed service on the street, in person or <br />substitute, and the time of service, also of all that have furnished <br />receipts from the tax collector, showing that the money in lieu of <br />the work has been paid to him. <br />SEC. 7. If money is needed at any time by the street com- <br />missioner in the performance of his duty, he shall call upon the <br />public improvel11_cnt committee, who shall draw on the street fund <br />for any amount in their discretion 11ecessary, not to exceed the <br />amount of said fund. That is the fund raised by money paid in <br />lieu of work shall be at the disposal of the public improvement <br />committee, and warrants drawn on said fund by the chairman of <br />said committee, countersigned by the city secretary shall be suffic- <br />ient authority for the treasurer to payout such fund. <br />Attest, J. That the right and privilege be and the. same is <br />hereby granted to Lamar county to place a sewer, commencing on <br />Price street, in said city, near th~ Lamar county. jail, and run <br />thence west on said side of said street to the west side of North <br />Walfstreet, thence north on east side of said ~orth vVallstreet, <br />to the terminus of said Wall street, thence east to west boundary <br />line of North Main street, thence north with said line to the cor- <br /> <br />
