Acquire land for new parks and recreation expansion, including east of Loop 286 <br />and west of 286 near the U.S. Highway 82 corridor. <br />PARKS AND RECREATION PLAN MAP <br />The following section of the Comprehensive Plan update describes the park classification <br />scheme, classifies the community's park facilities and offers policy recommendations consistent <br />with the above listed goals and objectives. <br />Park Classifications <br />The National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) has developed a classification scheme <br />based on the service areas and functions of the park or open space.
