RESOLUTION N0. 83-023 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Paris, did advertise for bids for <br />furnishing material and constructing a concrete and asphalt <br />apron extension, and furnishing equipment and installing a <br />fixed fuel storage and dispensing system at Cox Field, <br />Paris, Texas, being Part 1 and Part 3 of the Bid Schedule <br />from Cox Field TAC Project No. 836-20, of plans and speci- <br />fications dated February, 1983, which bids were received <br />until 10:00 o'clock A.M., Wednesday, May 4, 1983; and, <br />WHEREAS, the best bid for such construction was made by <br />David Buster, Inc. Route 1, Loop 286 N. W., Paris, Texas, <br />and he should be awarded the bid for such construction; and, <br />WHEREAS, the award and letting of the bid for such <br />construction is subject to concurrence by the Federal <br />Aviation Administration; and, <br />WHEREAS, the form of contract for such construction <br />project is attached hereto as Exhibit A, and such form <br />should be approved; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That the Bid of David Buster, Inc., for Cox Field TAC <br />Project No. 836-20 in the amount of $137,842.10, is hereby <br />accepted and let, conditioned upon said contractor meeting <br />all of the terms and specifications included in the bid <br />documents and the approval and concurrence by the Federal <br />Aviation Administration; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of <br />Paris, Joe Graham, be, and is hereby authorized and directed <br />to execute on behalf of the City of Paris the contract Lor <br />Cox Field TAC Project No. 836-20, upon the terms and con- <br />ditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A attached hereto, <br />with David Buster, Inc., after having received the approval <br />and concurrence of Federal Aviation Administration. <br />Passed and adopted this 9th day of May, 1983. <br />a,, luLz . z <br />J ra ah, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />H. . eene, ity er <br />APPROVED AS TO FOR1I1: <br />T.
