RESOLUTION N0. $3-027 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris in <br />keeping with its commitment to make every effort available <br />to comply with the Texas Department of Health's requirements <br />enumerated in its letter of February 11, 1983, has, iriter- <br />viewed consulting engineering firms, and after receipt of <br />solicited proposals has hired Hunter Associates, Iric., to <br />acquire a Solid Waste Type 5 Permit and to construct and <br />place into operation a transfer station in compliance with <br />the State of Texas Health Department criteria; and, <br />WHEREAS, said Hunter Associates, Inc., have recommended <br />the property described on Exhibit A attached hereto as the <br />property best suited for said transfer station and the same <br />should receive appropriate zoning for said use, NOW, <br />THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, that the old landfill property, lying between Clement <br />Road and Loop 286 N. E. and bordered on the West by Central <br />Manufacturing, Inc. property and bordered on the East by <br />Horseshoe Properties, Inc., and more particularly described <br />on Exhibit A attached hereto be, and the same is hereby <br />referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City <br />of Paris for its recommendations concerning the proper <br />zoning of the same in order that its use may be limited to <br />the operation of a transfer station in compliance with the <br />State of Texas Health Department rules and regulation and <br />the laws of the State of Texas; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held <br />before the Planning and Zoning Commission concerning said <br />property at 7:00 P.M., in the City Council Room, City Hall, <br />Paris, Texas, on the 5th day of July, 1983, and that a <br />public hearing be held before the City Council of the City <br />of Paris at 7:00 P.M., in the City Council Room, City Hall, <br />Paris, Texas, on the llth day of July, 1983. <br />Passed and adopted this 13th day of June, 1983. <br />gooeel Graham, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />H. .
