RESOLUTION PdO. 83-034 <br />WHEREAS, the State Library and Archives Commission has <br />voted to accept the program of services submitted by Garland, <br />Texas, which included the designation of the Nicholson <br />Memorial Library at Garland as the Major Resource Center <br />Library for the Northeast Texas Library System (NETLS) <br />replacing the Dallas Pub:Lic Library as such Major Resource <br />Center for NETLS; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris deems it <br />to be in the best interest to the citizens of Paris and <br />Lamar County that the City Council concur in such desig- <br />nation; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, that the City of Paris concurs with the State Library <br />and Archives Commission's designation of the Nicholson <br />Memorial Library at Garland as the Major Resource Center for <br />the Northeast Texas Libra.ry System. <br />Passed and adopted t.his 13th day of June, 1983. <br />AC-L <br />Graham, Mayor <br />goe <br />ATTEST: <br />/ <br />H.
