RESOLUTION N0. $3-046 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, <br />Texas, recognizes said City's long range need for Municipal <br />and Industrial potable water supply; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Red River Authority of Texas has a legal, <br />financial, and technical expertise for the development of <br />water supplies and determining the feasibility of developing <br />such supplies; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, that the City Council of the City of Paris does <br />hereby request the Red River Authority to perforr_i a Recon- <br />naissance Study to determine the feasibility of a water <br />supply project for Paris and Lamar County, Texas; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVEU that the City Council will <br />support the furtherance of a proposed project, should the <br />study reveal the project economically feasible. <br />Passed and adopted this llth day of July, 1983. <br />q J e AS --i AJA~_ <br />ra am, rlayor <br />ATTEST: <br />~ <br />H. . r ene, ity er <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />.
