[LETTERHEAD OF PARIS HEALTH FACILITIES DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION] September 1983 idayor and City Council City of Paris Paris, Texas 75460 RE: Paris Health Facilities Development Corporation Revenue Bonds, Series 1983 (McCuistion Regional Medical Center Project) Mayor and City Council Members: Pursuant to Section 4.03 of the Health Facilities Develop- ment Act, Article 1528j V.A.T.C.S. (the "Act"), the Act under which the City of Paris created the Paris Health Facilities Development Corporation, notice is hereby given that the Paris Health Facilities Development Corporation intends to issue its above-captioned bonds (the "Bonds") for the purpose of providing financing for part of the cost of a health facility (as such term is defined in the Act) (the "Project") for AicCuistion Regional Medical Center, a non-profit corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Texas (the "User"). The anticipated size of the proposed bond issue is $1,750,000. The Project shall be located at 865 DeShong Drive in Paris, Texas. A full and ccmplete description of the Project, including an explana- tion of projected costs of such Project, supplied by the User, are attached hereto as Exhibit A. The necessity for such Project is to assist the maintenance of public health and to provide health facilities for the promotion and development of health care, all for the public purpose of promcting the health and welfare of citizens of the City of Paris, and the citizens of the State of Texas and the Project is needed for the purpose of improving the adequacy, cost, and accessibility of health care, research and education within this State.
