RESOLliTION N0. 2127 <br />WHEREAS, Lone Star Gas Company did, on October 29, 1981, <br />file a Statement of Intent to Change Residential and Com- <br />mercial Rates for gas service within the City of Paris, to <br />become effective December 4, 1981; and, <br />WHEREAS, after having reviewed the proposed rate <br />schedule and having received information from Lone Star Gas <br />Company, it is the opinion of the City Council of the City <br />of Paris, that such schedule of rates should be suspended <br />for a period of 120 days from December 4, 1981, for study, <br />investigation, receipt of evidence and public hearing be- <br />fore the City Council of the City of Paris at its next <br />regular meeting; and, <br />WHLREAS, a copy of this resolution has been provided <br />Lane Star Gas Company prior to its consideration by the City <br />Council of the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That a public hearing, be, and the same is hereby <br />set for 7:00 P. M., on the 14th day of December, 1981, in <br />the Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas, for the purpose <br />of receiving any and all information germane to Lone Star <br />Gas Company's request for rate increases, filed in the form <br />of a schedule of rates with the City of Paris on the 29th <br />day of October, 1931; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That pursuant to Section 43(d) <br />of the Public Utility Regulatory Act, that the operation of <br />the Lone Star Gas Company's proposed rate schedules filed <br />with the City of Paris, Paris, Texas on the 29th day of <br />October, 1981, be, and the same is hereby suspended for <br />a period of 120 days for further study, investigation, re- <br />ceipt of evidence and public hearing. <br />Passed and adopted this 9th day of November, 1981. <br />ATTEST: <br />H.
