DL'PARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br />FEDERAL AVIATIOi1 ADMINISTRATION <br />SOUTHWEST REGION <br />POST OFFICE BOX 1689 <br />FORT WORTH, TEXAS 76101 <br />Lease No. DTFA07-81-L-01106 <br />DF Site, Cox Field <br />Paris, Texas <br />SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT N0. 1 <br />THIS SUPPLPMENTAL AGREEMEPIT, made and entered into this $th day of <br />MarCh , 1982, by and between the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, <br />represented by the P'ederal Aviation Administration, hereinafter referred to as <br />the Government, and the CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, hereinafter referred to as Lessor, <br />whose address is Post Office Box 1037, Paris, Texas, 75460, WITTIESSETH, That: <br />WHEREAS, on the llth day of May, 1981, the parties hereto entered into Lease <br />No. DTFA07-81-L-01106 for the purpose and consideration therein stated; and <br />WHEREAS, the Government has a requirement for land sites upon which to <br />install, operate, and maintain a 4-box Visuai Approach Slope Indicator (VASI), <br />Runway 35, Cox Field, I'aris, Texas, in accordance with Drawing No. SW-D-98$2-lA <br />and restrictions thercon, sai.d drawing attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br />Restrictions are: <br />VASI OI3STRUCTION CT,EAR AREA; <br />Sponsor shall agree to clear and maintain the approach <br />area as defined by: <br />1. A vertical angle of 1.5° starting at the downwind <br />bar and extending outward for 6 miles; <br />2. A horizontal angle of 10° either side of the <br />extended runway centerline, measured from the <br />downwind bar starting at the runway centerline <br />and extending outward from the threshold for <br />6 miles; see above referenced drawing for more <br />detail ori Items 1 and 2; and <br />WHEREAS, the Government h<zs a requirement to utilize two existing ducts <br />under Taxiway A on Cox Field as shown on above referenced drawi.ng; and <br />WHEREAS, the parties fiereto find it is to their mutual benefit and <br />advantage to amend the basir_ lease for the purposes stated above. <br />EXHIBIT A <br />TO RESOLUTION N0. 2154 <br />
