RESOLUTION N0, 2169 <br />WHEREAS, Texas Power & Light Company, did, on December 9, <br />1981, file a proposed fuel cost factor tariff for service <br />within the City of Paris, to become effective January 13, <br />1982, the operating of which was suspended for a period <br />of 120 days from January 13, 1982; and, <br />WHEREAS, Texas Power and Light Company did subsequently <br />amend its stated intended effective date extending it for a <br />period of 30 days to February 12, 1982, which had the effect <br />of extending the suspension period for an additional 30 days <br />being a total of 150 days; and, <br />WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the <br />citizens of Paris that said tariff be suspended for an additional <br />period of 30 days until July 12, 1982 so that a proposed <br />settlement agreement regarding the proposed modification to <br />the fuel cost fact-or rate schedule and procedure of approval <br />of payment to affiliates can be considered and so that a <br />public hearing can be conducted, if necessary; and, <br />WHEREAS, a copy of this resolution has been provided to <br />Texas Power and Light Company; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />That pursant to Section 43 (d) of the Public Utility Regula- <br />tory Act, the operation of Texas Power and Light Company's <br />proposed modified fuel cost factor tariff and procedure for <br />approval of payments to affiliates is hereby suspended for <br />an additional period of 30 days from the intended effective <br />date which suspends the same until July 12, 1982. <br />Passed and adopted this 14th day of June, 1982. <br />Q611-0.44Lyd <br />J e Graham, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />~ <br />H.
