City Personnel will be responsible for compaction. The Contractor <br />is to distribute cover material in loose fill lifts not to exceed 12 <br />inches and coordinate his operations,with City Personnel to facilitate <br />compaction. Cover material must be free of trash, logs, boulders, and <br />other foreign debris, and the final surface must be worked by the <br />Contractor, so that it meets or exceeds all the requirements of the <br />paragraph entitled Finished Gradings. <br />L. FINISHED GRADING <br />All areas disturbed by Contractor, excepting trencii excavations, <br />shall be restored to finished grade condition. Finished grade shall be <br />shaped to drain and blend well with the topography of the surrounding <br />terrain. Finished grade shall have a minimum of one and maximum of two <br />feet of trash free earth and shall be free of large ruts, logs, boulders, <br />and all other foreign debris. The Contractor must dispose of all trash, <br />logs, boulders, and other debris which he might encounter, by trans- <br />porting it to the proper area of the landfill. Any access roads disturbed <br />by the Contractor shall be restQred to their original condition, including <br />but not limited to, resurfacing and ditching. Drainage routes disturbed <br />by the Contractor shall be restored to original condition, or a suitable <br />substitute route must be constzucted. <br />II-5 <br />
