STA TE OF TEXA S ~ <br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: <br />COUNTY OF LAMA R ~ <br />That the CITY OF PARIS, a municipal corporation, acting by and <br />through its Mayor, MICHAEL E. MALONE, duly authorized by <br />Resolution No. 2022 , passed by the City Council of the City of Paris <br />on the 14th day of April, 1980, and hereunto duly authorized by <br />Section 9, Article 7345b, Revised Civil Statutes of Texas, as the <br />presiding officer of the governing body of the CITY OF PARIS, for <br />and in consideration of the sum of FIVE NUNDRED AND NO/100 <br />($500. 00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it <br />in hand paid by ROBERT A. BURNS, Purchaser, the receipt of which <br />is acknowledged and confessed has conveyed and quitclaimed and by <br />these presents does convey and quitclaim unto said Purchaser all <br />right, title and interest of the CITY OF PARIS and all other taxing <br />units ir~terested in the tax foreclosure judgment against the property <br />herein conveyed, acquired by tax foreclosure sale heretofore held, <br />said property being described as follows: <br />All that certain tract or parcel of land situated <br />within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, Lamar <br />County, Texas, a part of the Larkin Rattan Survey, and <br />bein~ more fully described as follows: <br />BEGINNING on the north side of Brame Street <br />100 ~eet east of the southwest corner of the Abe <br />Goldman homestead lot; <br />THENCE north 1S7 feet to the north line of said <br />Goldman lot, the northeast corner of a 50 foot lot * <br />sold to Z. T. Belew by D. H. Scott off said Goldman lot; <br />THENCE east 50 feet, a stake on the south line of <br />said Goldman lot; <br />THENCE south 157 feet the south line of said lot <br />on Brame Street; <br />THENCE west with Brame Street 50 feet to the <br />place of beginning and being that same tract of land <br />conveyed to Harry A. Vallier, et ux, Eugenia J. Vallier <br />by that certain deed of record in Volume 202, Page 407, <br />Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, incorporated <br />iherein by reference and reference to which is hereby <br />made. <br />EXHIBIT A <br />
