RESOLUTION N0. 2001 . <br />WHEREAS, the term of office of W. R. Phillips, M. D. , as <br />City Health Officer, will expire on December 31, 1979; and, <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary and appropriate that the City <br />Council of the City of Paris act under the authority granted in <br />Article 4425, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes, and appoint a <br />City Health Officer; and, <br />WHEREAS, the N~ayor of the City of Paris recommends the <br />appointment of W. R. Phillips, M. D, as City Health Officer for a <br />two year term, beginning January l, 1980; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That W. R. Phillips, M, D. , be, and he is hereby appointed <br />to the office of City Health Officer to serve from January l, 1980 <br />through December 31, 1981. <br />Passed and adopted this lOth day of December, 1979. <br />~ <br />~ Mayor Michae .
