Situated within the corporate limits of the City of <br />Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and being a portion of <br />Lot 7, City Block 268 and being more particularly <br />described as follows, <br />BEGINNING at the South East Corner of said Lot 7; also <br />being a point in the North Boundary Line of Blake Road; <br />THENCE North 1 Deg. 38 Min. East 1$.0 Feet along the <br />North Boundary Line of Blake Road to the place of be- <br />ginning and containing 1690 Sq. Ft. or .039 acres of <br />land, more or less. <br />and is owned by heirs of Walter Brooks and wife Clara Brooks; <br />Situated within the corporate limits of the City of <br />Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and being a portion of <br />Lot 9, City Block 174A and being more particularly <br />described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at the North East Corner of said Lot 9, Block <br />174A, also being a point in the South Boundary Line of <br />Blake Road; <br />THENCE South 1 Deg. 38 Min. West 33.0 Feet along the East <br />Boundary Line of Lot 9 to a point; <br />THENCE North 88 Deg. 22 Min. West 34.0 Feet to a point; <br />THENCE North 1 Deg. 38 Min. East 10.0 Feet to a point; <br />THENCE North 88 Deg. 22 Min. West 15.0 Feet to a point; <br />THENCE North 1 Deg. 3$ Min. East 23.0 Feet to a point in <br />the South Boundary Line of Blake Road; <br />THENCE South 88 Deg. 22 Min, East 49.0 Feet along said <br />South Boundary Line to the point of beginning and containing <br />1467 Sq. Ft, or 0.034 acres of land, more or less. <br />and is owned by Miss Belle Schaf and Miss Lillie Schaf; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the above described <br />parcels of right of way are necessary for said improvement project <br />and that the same should be condemned; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That <br />the City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, be, and he is hereby authorized <br />and directed to proceed to condemn the above described property <br />to be used for Blake Road improvement project from East edge of <br />pavement in Fitzhugh Avenue (9th Street, N.E.) approximately <br />3500 feet Easterly to West edge of pavement in 20th Street, N.E. <br />Passed and adopted this 13th day of November, 1978. <br />chael .~_..E.
