NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That from the above and fore- <br />going canvass of the returns of the votes in the three (3) respec- <br />tive voting boxes in such elect.ion, it is declared and determined <br />that Michael E. Malone is the person receiving the highest number <br />of votes of the votes cast at such election for Councilman From <br />Ward Four (4), and is therefore elected to serve as Councilman <br />From Ward Four (4) and as a member of the City Council of the <br />City of Paris for the ensuing two (2) years; that W. C. Francis is <br />the person receiving the highest number of votes of the votes cast <br />at such election for Councilman From Ward Five (5), and is there- <br />fore elected to serve as Councilman From Ward Five (5) and as a <br />member of the City Council of the City of Paris for the ensuing two <br />(2) years; and that Ronald Kyle is the person receiving the highest <br />number of votes of the votes cast at such election for Councilman <br />From Ward Seven (7), and is therefore elected to serve as <br />Councilman From Ward Seven (7) and as a member of the City <br />Council of the City of Paris for the ensuing two (2) years. <br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris <br />in spec.ial session convened pursuant to the directions of the City <br />Charter of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, on this the 18th day of <br />April, 1979. <br />0, <br />1VIichael E.
