RESOLUTION N0. 1986 . <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has <br />heretofore determined that it is in the best interest of the <br />citizens of the City of Paris to establish an Appraisal <br />District for Lamar County and that Appraisal District be <br />governed by five (5) Directors, who would represent all of <br />the citizens of Lamar County; and, <br />WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of <br />the citizens of Paris that the City of Paris cast its votes <br />for said Director for T. (Bill) Murphy; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, T'hat the 1,059 votes, which the City of Paris is en- <br />titled to cast for persons nominated for the Board of <br />Directors of the Appraisal District for Lamar County, are <br />hereby voted for lJ. T. (Bill) Murphy. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Clerk, H. C. Greene, <br />be, and he is hereby directed to deliver a certified copy of <br />this Resolution and Ballot No. 5, which is attached hereto as <br />Exhibit "A" marked with 1,059 votes for Ta. T. (Bill) Murphy, <br />to the County Clerk on the 14th day of November, 1979. <br />Passed and adopted this 12th day of November, 1979. <br />~ <br />Michae E.
