LEASE AGREEMENT <br />STATE OF TEXAS X <br />COUNTY OF LAMAR X <br />LEASE AGREEMENT between the CITY OF PARIS, a municipal <br />corporation, acting by and through its Mayor duly authorized, <br />hereinafter referred to as Lessor, and LAMAR COUNTY HUMAN <br />RESOURCES COUNCIL, INC., Paris, Texas, acting by and through <br />its President duly authorized, hereinafter referred to as <br />Lessee, WITNESSETH: <br />For and in consideration of the payment to the CITY OF <br />PARIS, a municipal corporation, the sum of ONE AND N01100 <br />DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration, the CITY OF <br />PARIS does hereby lease, rent and let unto the LAMAR COUNTY <br />HUMAN RESOURCE5 COUNCIL, INC. the property described on Exhibit <br />"A" attached hereto and made a part hereof for alI legal pur- <br />poses. <br />The term of this lease is for two (2) years, beginning <br />on the lst day of December, 1979 and ending on the 30th day of <br />November, 1981. <br />IN CONSIDERATION HEREOF, it is mutually agreed by and be- <br />tween Lessor and Lessee: <br />l. That Lessee will use and maintain the described prem- <br />ises for a Senior Citizens Center with Lessee maintaining a <br />nutrition and recreation program for all senior citizens of <br />Paris, Texas. <br />2. That Lessee wi11 be responsible for the maintenance, <br />repair and upkeep of the said premises, ordinary wear and tear <br />excepted. <br />3. Lessee agrees to indemnify, save, keep and hold harm- <br />less Lessor from and against any and a11 demands, debts, <br />liabilities, suits, claims and causes of action of every kind <br />EXHIBIT "A" <br />
