RESOLUTIUN N0. 1833 , WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did at its regular meeting on the lOth day of October, 1977, approve the advertisement for bids for the furnishing and installation of two (2) Heating and Air Co~ditioning Units at the Cox Field Airport Terminal Building, in accordance with detailed specifications dated November, 1977, which bids were received until 10:~J0 o'clock A. M. , Wednesday, November 9, 1977; and, WHEREAS, the best bid for such equipment was made by Preferred Air Conditioning of Paris, Inc., and it should be awarded the contract for furnishing and installation of such equipment; and, WHEREAS, the form of contract to furnish and install such equipment is attached hereto as Exhibit A; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That the bid of Preferred Air Conditioning of Paris, Inc. , for the furnishing and installation of two (2) Heating and Air Conditioning Units at the Cox Field Airport Terminal Building, within 60 calendar days, in the amount of $4, 025. 00 is hereby accepted and let, conditioned upon said contractor meeting a11 of the terms and conditions included in the bid documents; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Manager of the City of Paris, I<erry R. Sweatt, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris, the contract with Preferred Air Conditioning of Paris, Inc, for the furnishing and installation of two (2) Heating and Air Conditioning Units at the Cox Field Airport Terminal Building, upon the terms and con- ditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A attached hereto.
