SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE FURNISHING AND <br />INSTALLRTION OF HEATING AND AIR-CONDITIONING <br />EQUIPMENT - COX FIELD AIRPORT TERMINAL BUILDING <br />The City of Paris proposes to replace the present heating and air-conditioning <br />system for the airport terminal building with two (2) separate units as per <br />the fol l owi ng : <br />1. Cooling: Each unit shall have a 3 phase, 240 volt condensing element <br />capable of producing 57,000 BTU based on ARI Rating @ 95 degrees outside, <br />dry bulb; Indoor @ 78 degrees dry bulb and 65 degrees wet bulb. <br />2. Heating: Each unit shall have a 25 KW (2 stage) electric resi5tance <br />heating element wired for 240 V, 3 phase e1ectric characteristics. <br />3. Blawer: Blower element shall be designed for not less than 2000 CFM. <br />4. Contractor shall furnish and install as per manu-Facturers recommendations, <br />suction and liquid refrigerant lines from indoor evaporator to roof mounted <br />condensing units. Suction lines sha11 be insulated with no less than <br />thick foam rubber. <br />5. Contractor shall provide and install, for each system, a two stage heating <br />and single stage cooling thermostat. The cooling module sha11 energize roof <br />mounted condensing unit and blo4ver motor. The heating modu1e shall energize <br />15 K.W first stage and 10 KW secand stage for each unit. <br />6. Contractor is expected to provide all electrical work required for the <br />installation of the two systems. <br />7. Contractor is to use existing duct work for the distribution of conditioned <br />air from the new units. Old heating and air conditioning units are to be <br />removed and become the property of the contractor. Contractor shall sea1 off <br />all duct work not necessary to the new system. <br />8. System installed shall be warranted for a period of not 1ess than one (1) <br />year from date of acceptance and in addition to the one year warranty, manu- <br />facturer shall warrant compressor motor only for an additional four (4) years. <br />9. 4Jarranty Certificates shal1 be submitted to the City by the Contractor. <br />10. Efficiency Rating: System shall have a minimum EER rating of 7.0. <br />
