RESOLUTION N0. 1855 , <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of <br />Paris has approved Preliminary Plat of Dorchester Place; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has approved the plans and spe- <br />cifications providing utility service in and to Dorchester Place, Part 2, <br />which require the acquisition of a utility easement from John C. <br />Culpepper, Jr. of Brazos County, Texas, described as follows; <br />Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of <br />Paris, County of Lamar and State of Texas, a part of the <br />Joseph Leach Survey, a part of the same land conveyed <br />Ralph B. Shelton, III and Bill H. Bowerman by William <br />deG. Hayden and wife, of record in Book 551, Page 791 of <br />the Deed Records of said County and State, and being <br />further described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at a stake for corner in the East Boundary <br />Line of the proposed Dorchester Place No. 2 Subdivision <br />to the City of Paris, said point being N 89 Degrees 46 <br />Minutes W. 118 feet and S 0 Degrees 18 Minutes W. 124. 36 <br />feet from the Northeast corner of the above mentioned <br />Hayden to Shelton and Bowerman tract; <br />THENCE N 75 Degrees 15 Minutes E along the South <br />Boundary Line of the proposed easement a distance of 2. 69 <br />feet to the beginning of a curve to the right having a <br />radius of 90.22 feet; <br />THENCE in a Northeasterly direction along said curve <br />to the right a distance of 48 feet to the West Boundary Line <br />of an existing sanitary sewer easement to the City of Paris; <br />THENCE N 0 Degrees 41 Minutes W along the West <br />Boundary Line of said easement:a distance of 21.0 feet to <br />a stake in a curve to the left having a radius of 110. 22 feet; <br />THENCE in a Southwesterly direction along said curve <br />to the left a distance of 50 feet; <br />THENCE S 0 Degrees 18 Minutes W a distance of <br />20. 72 feet to the place of beginning and containing 0. 012 <br />acres of land, more or less. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the described easement <br />is necessary and that the same should be condemned; NOW, THERE- <br />FORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That the City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, be, and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to proceed to condemn the above described <br />easement, to be used for utility service to Dorchester Place, in <br />accordance with the established policies of the City of Paris. <br />Passed and adopted this 13th day of March, 1978. <br />~ ~ ~ <br />' ' - <br />Ja es M.
