NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That from the above and foregoing canvass <br />of the returns of the votes in the four (4) respective voting boxes in <br />such election, it is declared and determined that George Fisher, Jr. <br />is the person receiving the highest number of votes of the votes cast <br />at such election for Councilman From Ward One (1), and is therefore <br />elected to serve as Councilman From Ward One (1) and as a member <br />of the City Council of the City of Paris for the ensuing two (2) years; <br />that Walter F. Williams is the person receiving the highest number of <br />votes of the votes cast at such election for Councilman From Ward <br />Two (2), and is therefore elected to serve as Councilman From Ward <br />Two (2) and as a member of the City Council of the City of Paris for <br />the ensuing two (2) years; that Billy J. Burnett is the person receiving <br />the highest number of votes of the votes cast at such election for <br />Councilman From Ward Three (3), and is therefore elected to serve <br />as Councilman From Ward Three (3) and as a member of the City <br />Council of the City of Paris for the ensuing two (2) years; and that <br />James W. Farris is the person receiving the highest number of votes <br />of the votes cast at such election for Councilman From Ward Six (6), <br />and is therefore elected to serve as Councilman From Ward Six (6) <br />and as a member of the City Council of the City of Paris for the en- <br />suing two (2) years. <br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris in <br />special session convened pursuant to the directions of the City Charter <br />of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, on this the 12th day of April, 1978. <br />~James M.
