RESOLUTION NO. 1789 <br />WIIEREAS, Article 4436a-1 of Vernon's Annotated Civil <br />Statutes requires that the Advisory Boarcl of Health of the City of <br />Paris and County of Lamar shall consist of seven (7) members who <br />are resident citizens of Lamar County who have resided within the <br />County for a period of more than three (3) years next preceding <br />the time of their appointments; and, <br />WHEREAS, the terms of office of William deG, Hayden and <br />John L. Barnett have expired, and it is necessary to replace or <br />re-appoint two persons to fill the vacancies created by the expira- <br />tion of their terms; and, <br />WfIEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, James M. <br />Brunette, has recommended the re-appointment of William deG. <br />Hayden and John L. Barnett, who continue to be qual.ified, to serve <br />on said Advisory Board of Health of the City of Paris and County of <br />Lamar, for a term of two (2) years, beginning January 1, 1977 <br />and ending December 31, 1978; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESrJLVED BY THE C1TY COUNCIL OI' THT CiTY OF <br />PARIS, That Wi-Iliam deG. Hayden and Jo`in L. Barnett, be re- <br />appointed as members to serve on the Advisory Board of Health of <br />the City of Faris and County of Lamar for a term of two (2) years, <br />beginnina January 1, 1977, and ending December 31, 1978. <br />Passed and adopted this 14th day of February, 1977. <br />Ja s M.
