RESOLUTION NO. 1720 . <br />WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council <br />of the City of Paris that there is an alley, beginning at the West <br />Boundary Line of 9th Street, N. W. , at the South East Corner of Lot 5, <br />City Block 51, and the North East Corner of Lot 6, City Block 51, being <br />15 feet wide and extending in a Westerly direction approximately 265 <br />feet, more or less, to the East Boundary Line of lOth Street, N. W. <br />and the South West Corner of Lot l, City Block 51, and the North West <br />Corner of Lot 9, City Block 51, lying adjacent to the South Boundary <br />Lines of Lots 1 through 5 and adjacent to the North Boundary Lines of <br />Lots 6 through 9, all in City Block 51; and, <br />WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council <br />that the alley is not desired by the property owners adjacent to said <br />alley and that said alley is of no use to the City of Paris, and, there- <br />fore, no necessity exists therefor; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That the Mayor of the City of Paris, James M. Brunette, be, <br />and he is hereby authorized to execute a quit claim to 7-1/2 feet of <br />the 15 foot alley being closed to the adjacent owners on either side <br />of said alley, it appearing that the real and true owners of the here- <br />inafter described lots out of City Block 51 are as follows: <br />Lot <br />1 <br />J. M. McIntire <br />Lot <br />2 <br />Tom Durham <br />Lot <br />3 <br />Mary A. Shires Estate <br />Lot <br />4 <br />Rayburn Bell <br />Lot <br />5 <br />Reba Newman <br />Lot <br />6 <br />Donald Duncan <br />Lot <br />7 <br />Joan Bell Covington <br />Lot <br />8 <br />Harold T.
