Reconvene into open session and possibly take action on those matters discussed in <br />Executive Session. <br />Mayor Hashmi convened City Council into open session at 7:37 p.m. He said there were <br />several discussions in executive session and one item was the potential sale of the Sara Lee Plant <br />and the Council was asked to have a special meeting with regard to the potential sa1e. He <br />announced that there would be a special meeting of the City Council on Friday at 11:30 a.m. to <br />receive additional information from PEDC about job creation with regard to the Sara Lee Plant. <br />20. Consider and approve future events for City Council and/or City Staff pursuant to <br />Resolution No. 2004-081. <br />City Manager John Godwin reminded everyone of the Lamar County Historical Museum <br />open house on July 28. <br />21. Adjournment. <br />There being no further business, a Motion to adjourn was made by Council Member <br />Drake and was seconded by Council Member Lancaster. Motion carried, 5 ayes - 0 nays.
