DRAFT <br /> <br />LISAhqESOLUTIONS\CURRENTEVIeeting Consolidation Res - October 2001 <br /> September 7, 2001 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING CHANGE OF COUNCIL MEETING DATE; <br />MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE <br />SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate that, in lieu of two separate meetings, the regular <br />Monday meeting of the City Council scheduled for October 8,200 l, be consolidated with the regular <br />Thursday meeting of the City Council, such that a single meeting be scheduled for October 4, 2001; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble of this resolution are hereby in all things <br />approved. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the regular Monday meeting of the City Council scheduled for October 8, <br />2001, be, and the same is hereby, consolidated with the regular Thursday meeting of the City Council, <br />such that a single meeting be scheduled for October 4, 2001, at 6:00 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That a copy of this Resolution be placed on the City Hall Bulletin Board giving <br />notice of the rescheduling of the regular Thursday August Council meeting, and that the news media <br />be informed of the rescheduled date in the same manner they are informed of emergency City Council <br />meetings. <br /> <br />Section 4.
