RESOLUTION NO. 1603 , <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING AN ELECTION TO BE HELD ON THE <br />FIRST TUESDAY IN A.PRIL, 1974, SAME BEING THE 2ND DAY OF <br />APRILa 1974, BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8:00 O' CLOCK A. M. A.ND <br />7:00 O' CLOCK P. M., BY THE QUALIFIED VOTERS OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF ELECTTNG THE <br />FOLLOWING COUNCILMEN TO SERVE AS MEMBERS OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL FOR THE ENSUING TWO YEARS. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS: <br />Section 1. That an election be held by the qualified voters of the <br />City of Paris, Paris, Texas, on the first Tuesday in April, 1974, same <br />being the 2nd day of April, 1974, between the hours of 8:00 o'clock <br />A. M. and 7:00 0' clock P. M. , for the purpose of electing four (4) mem - <br />bers of the City Council of the City of Paris, as follows: <br />One <br />Councilman From <br />One <br />Councilman From <br />One <br />Councilman From <br />One <br />Councilman From <br />Ward One (1) <br />Ward Two (2) <br />Ward Three (3) <br />Ward Four (4) <br />as provided in Section 16 of Article III of the Charter of the City of <br />Paris, adopted on November 2, 1948, and in accordance with Article IX <br />of the Charter of the City of Paris, adopted November 2, 1948, such <br />Councilmen to serve for the ensuing two years. <br />Section 2. That the polling places and election officials of such <br />election shall be as follows: <br />Ward One (1): <br />Polling Place: Central Fire Station <br />Officials: Mr. W. J.
