RFSOLUTION NO. 1534 <br />WHERFAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has under- <br />taken a project of improvement of Buttermilk Branch of Big <br />Sandy Creek, from 27th Street, S. E., South to Clarksville <br />Street; and, <br />WHEREAS, all easements necessary .for said improvement <br />have been procured except for the following: <br />Situated within the corporate limits of the City <br />of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, a part of the George <br />W. Cox Survey, being a part of the prop erty allotted <br />to Barney Bray as recorded in Vol. 3, Page 448, of the <br />District Court Records, Lamar County, Texas, dated <br />August 25, 1928, and being a part of Lot 28, City <br />Block 249, more particularly described as follows: <br />Beginning at a point in the common boundary line <br />of Lot l, Block B, Wynnwood Addition, arrl Lot 28, City <br />Block 249, said point being the Southeast Corner of <br />said Lot 1, and the Northeast Corner of said Lot 28. <br />Thence South 31° 59' E along the Common Boundary <br />Line of Block A, Johnsons Woods Estates and Lot 28, <br />City Slock 249, a distance of 42 feet to a point; <br />Thence S 34° 58' E along said boundary line a <br />distance of 70.18 feet to a point; <br />Thence S 03° 44' E along said boundary line a <br />distance of 192.15 feet to a point; <br />Thence S 27° 10' W along said boundary line a <br />distance of 64.15 feet to a point; <br />Thence N 88° 56' W along said boundary line a <br />distance of 63.85 feet to a point; <br />Thence S 39° 35' W along said boundary line a <br />distance of 108.73 feet to a point in the North Boundary <br />Line of Clarksville Street; <br />Thence N 65° W along said North Boundary Line a <br />distance of 41.3 feet to a point; <br />Thence N 39° 35' E a distance of 178 feet to a <br />point; <br />Thence N 6° 50' E a distance of 182 feet to a point; <br />Thence N 31° 59' W a distance of 110 feet to a point, <br />said point being in the Common Boundary Line of Lot 1, <br />Block B, Wynnwood Addition and Lot 28, City Block 249; <br />Thence East with said boundary line a distance of <br />50 feet to the point of beginning and containing in all <br />0.537 acres, more or less. <br />which is owned by Barney Bray, Jr. or Sarney Bray, III; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the described easement <br />is necessary for said improvement project and that the same <br />should be condemned; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RFSOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />That the City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, be, and he is hereby au- <br />thorized and directed to proceed to condemn the above described <br />property to be used for drainage and utility easement in <br />accordance with the established policies of the City of Paris. <br />
