ARTICLE 2. TIME OF COMPLETION <br />The work to be performed under this Contract shall be commenced <br />within seven (7) calendar days of the date of this contract and be <br />completed within thirty (30) calendar days. <br />ARTICLE 3. THE CONTRACT SUM <br />The Owner shall pay the Contractor for the performance of the <br />Contract for the removal of a 20' x76' masonry and wood shed from <br />, <br />Lot3, Block 127 for the sum of <br />ONE AND N0/100 ($1.00) DOLLARS <br />ARTICLE 4. PROTECTION OF EXISTING BUILDINGS <br />The Contractor shall protect and hold the Owner harmless from <br />liability resulting from the performance of work under this Contract. <br />Equipment used shall not in any manner interfere or otherwise delay <br />the work of M. D. Misso Construction Company and the renovation <br />of the Paris Police Facility and the Contractor shall be liable for all <br />damage to said building including all costs for reclaiming such losses. <br />ARTICLE 5. DIRECTION OF WORK <br />The direction of work and administration of the Contract shall be by <br />Edward E. Houk, Architect. The architect will be the Owner ' s <br />representative during work i.nder this Contract until final payment <br />is made. It is mutually agreed between the parties to this -agree- <br />ment that the arch1tect shall inspect and observe all work provided <br />for herein. He has the authority to stop work whenever such stoppage <br />may be necessary to insure the proper execution of the work herein <br />provided for. <br />
