RESOLUTION NO. 1512 , <br />WHEREAS, the City of Paris did, in accordance with Charter <br />requirements, advertise for bid the closed circuit television <br />and intercom system for the Paris Police Building Renovation <br />prior to the regular Council Meeting of the City Council held <br />September 11, 1972; and, <br />WHEREAS, at the regular Council Meeting on September 11, <br />1972, bids were received and placed in a committee for study; <br />and, <br />WHIIREAS, said committee reported at thesame Council <br />Meeting, recommending the bid of Sound Electronics, a division <br />of Burns Electronic Security Services, Inc., and the bid was <br />awarded in accordance with the recommendation of the committee; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, thereafter, a contract was prepared between the <br />City of Paris and Sound Electronics, a copy of which is attached <br />hereto and marked Exhibit A; and, <br />WHEREAS, said contract was submitted to Sound E1.ectronics <br />and executed by the same and returned to the City of Paris and <br />executed by the Mayor; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />That the contract attached hereto as Fxhibit A is hereby, in all <br />things, approved, and the execution of the same by the Mayor, <br />James W. Farris, on behalf of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, <br />on the 22nd day of September, 1972, is hereby ratified and is <br />the act and deed of the City of Paris the same as if said exe- <br />cution was authorized by resolution prior to said execution. <br />Passed and adopted this 9th day of October, 1972. <br />ATTFST : <br />~ . <br />H.
