RFSGLUTION NO. 1498 <br />WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City <br />Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, that the herein- <br />after described property, belonging to Denman-Hyde Construction <br />Company, was at the request of Anthony E. F. Howard, a person <br />then having an interest in said property, by Ordinance No. 2015, <br />passed May 10, 1971, changed from a One-Family Dwelling District <br />No. 2(SF-2) to a Planned Development District (PD), Community <br />Unit Development; and, <br />WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council that when <br />property re-zoned for the purpose of development to some zoning <br />other than that of the adjacent property, that af'ter a reason- <br />able period of time without the proposed development occurring, <br />that said property should be back zoned to the classification <br />it previously had; and, <br />WHEZFAS, the property herein being considered, is de- <br />scribed as follows: <br />Beginning at a point 399 feet South 1 degree West <br />of the intersection of the West Boundary Line of Lot <br />31, City Block 259, with the proposed South Right of <br />Way Line of Loop 286 N. E. ; <br />Thence East 196 feet to a point in the proposed <br />West Boundary Line of 28th Street, N. E.; <br />Thence South 1 degree West 322 feet with the pro- <br />posed West Boundary Line of 28th Street, N. E. to a <br />point; <br />Thence North 89 degrees West 120 feet to a point; <br />Thence South 10 degrees West 548 feet to a point; <br />Thence North 89 degrees West 475 feet to a point; <br />Thence North 1 degree West 710 f'eet to a point; <br />Thence East 505 feet to a point; <br />Thence North 1 degree East 155 feet to the place <br />of beginning, containing 10 acres, more or less. <br />Being a Part of Lots 15, 31 and 33, City Block <br />259. <br />NOW, THEZEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF PARIS, That the herein described property, belonging to <br />Denman-Hyde Construction Company, is hereby referred to the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission for the purpose of considering <br />an amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 1710, to change said pro- <br />perty from a Planned Development District (PD), Community Unit <br />Development, to a One-Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2); <br />and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RFSOLVED, that a public hearing be held by <br />and before the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, <br />at 7:00 o'clock P. M., on the 14th day of August, 1972, in <br />connection with the proposed re-zoning of the above described <br />property. <br />
