RESOLUTION NO. 1490 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Paris has received a request from <br />Lois Irene Penn, owner of the following described tract of <br />land : <br />Situated about 4.5 miles N/W of Paris, Lamar <br />County, Texas, being 34.342 acres out of the Ira <br />Rubble Survey, Abst. No. 808, Carter Allen, Assignee; <br />19.202 acres out of the James Dalton Survey, Abst. <br />No. 249, 6.323 acres out of the A. McIntuff Survey, <br />Abst. No. 590, and 0.547 acres out of the John Haze <br />Survey, Abst. No. 412, making a total of 60.414 <br />acres of land; said tract being more particularly <br />described as follows, to-wit: <br />BEGINNING at an 30" oak tree and an I. P. set <br />for a corner; said point being the S/E corner of <br />the Ira Rubble Survey, and the N/E corner of the A. <br />McIntuff Survey; <br />THFNCE North with an old fence line, same <br />being the E/B/L of the Rubble Survey, at 924 feet <br />passing the N/E corner of the Rubble Survey, same <br />being th e most Southern Southeast corner of the <br />James Dalton Survey, continuing in all 1430 feet to <br />an I. P. for a corner; same bein g in the intersection <br />of two old fence lines; <br />THENCE West with said fence line, 1653 feet to <br />an I. P. for a corner; same being in an old fence <br />line; <br />THENCE South with old fence line, at 506 feet <br />passing the S/B/L of the Dalton Survey, same being <br />the N/B/L of the Rubble Survey; continuing South, <br />at 1392 feet passing the S/B/L of the Rubble Survey, <br />same being the N/B/L of the John Haze Survey; con- <br />tinuing in all a total of 1573 feet to an I. P. for <br />a corner; <br />THFNC E South 88 degrees 41 minutes East, at <br />131.6 feet passing the E/B/L of the Haze Survey, <br />same being the W/B/L of the A. McIntuff Survey, con- <br />tinuing South 88 degrees 41 minutes East, a total of <br />1653.4 feet to a Bois D'Arc Post, (found) and an <br />I. P. set for a corner; same being in the E/B/L of <br />the McIntuff Survey; <br />THENCE North with the E/B/L of the McIntuff <br />Survey, 181 feet to the place of beginning containing <br />60.414 acres of land. <br />Being described in accordance with an actual <br />made on the ground by A. C. Fryar, Registered Pu.blic <br />Surveyor of Texas, No. 549, completed on the 23rd, <br />day of September, 1971. <br />to quit claim the same for the purpose of title curative work; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Paris is not now and has never <br />claimed the above described property; and, <br />WHEREAS, Lois Irene Penn and her predecessors in the <br />chain of title of such property have had thesame under fence <br />and claimed ownership to same under deed and deeds of record <br />in Lamar County for more than twenty-five years; NOW, THER E- <br />FORE, <br />
