RESOLUTION NO. 1468 <br />WHIIZFAS, the City of Paris did heretofore make application <br />to the Criminal Justice Council for a grant for renovation of <br />police facility as authorized in Resolution No. 1453, which has <br />been approved; and, <br />WHEREAS, the planned renovated facility should contain <br />Closed Circuit Television and Intercom System, all of which was <br />not included in the previous grant, and funding for such equip- <br />ment is available through the Criminal Justice Council o n a <br />75%-25% basis; and, <br />WHER EAS, the cost of said equipment will be $16,500.00, <br />$4,125.00 to be paid by the City of Paris and $12,375.00 to be <br />paid by the Criminal Justice Council; and, <br />WHER EAS, it is to the best interest of the City of Paris <br />that an application for grant be submitted to the Texas <br />Criminal Justice Council, in the total amount of $16,500.00; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That the City of Paris process an application for <br />action grant from the Texas Criminal Justice <br />Council, to assist in financing the project en- <br />titled "Closed Circuit Television and Intercom <br />System for Paris Police Department", at a total <br />cost of $16,500.00, $12,375.00 to be furnished by <br />C.J.C. and $4,125.00 to be furnished by the City <br />of Paris. <br />2. That Loyd Mathews, Chief, Paris Police Department, <br />be, and he is hereby appointed Project Director. <br />3. That H. C. Greene, Director of Finance, be, and he <br />is hereby appointed Financial Officer of said pro- <br />ject. <br />4. That C. L. Walker, City Manager, be, and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to execute and de- <br />liver, on behalf of the City of Paris, the ne- <br />cessary applications, communications, instruments <br />and documents necessary for the completion of <br />said project. <br />Passed and adopted this lOth day,of January, 1972. <br />.C <br />s W.
