RESOLUTION NO. 1437 <br />WHER EAS, it has been called to the attention of the City <br />Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, that Tracts land <br />2, hereinafter described, belonging to Loise Lillian Pierce, <br />were at her request, by Ordinance No. 1976, passed September 14, <br />1970, changed from a One-Faznily Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2) <br />to a Planned Development District (PD), Community Unit <br />Development, in the case of Tract 1, and Planned Development <br />District (PD), Shopping Center, limited to that which could be <br />placed within a Neighborhood Service District (NS), in the case <br />of Tract 2; and, <br />WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council that when <br />property re-zoned for the purpose of development to some zon- <br />ing other than that of the adjacent property, that after a <br />reasonable period of time without the proposed development <br />occurring, that said property should be back zoned to the <br />classification it previously had; and, <br />WHERFAS, the property herein being considered, is de- <br />scribed in two tracts, as follows: <br />TRACT l: Situated within the Corporate Limits of <br />the City of Paris, County of Lamar and State of Texas, <br />a part of Hiram Williams Survey, and being all of a <br />0.51 acre tract of land conveyed Selby Pierce by deed <br />recorded in Vol. 409, Page 356, also being a part of a <br />5 acre tract of land conveyed Selby Pierce by deed re- <br />corded in Vol. 336, Page 628, also being a part of a <br />10.7 acre tract of land conveyed Selby Pierce by deed <br />recorded in Vol. 277, Page 486, of the Deed Records of <br />said County and State. <br />Beginning at a stake at the North West Corner of a <br />0.50 acre tract of land conveyed W. T. Murphy by deed <br />recorded in Vol. 408, Page 477, Deed Records, Lamar <br />County, Texas, the same being 204.5 feet North of the <br />North Boundary Line of Farm Road 195; <br />Thence North 47 Deg. East a distance of 104 feet <br />to a stake in the North East Corner of said Murphy <br />tract of land; <br />Thence North 1 Deg. East a distanc e of 600 feet to <br />a stake for corner in the East Boundary Line of said <br />10.07 acre tract of land; <br />Thence North 63 Deg. West along the South Boundary <br />Line of Loop 286 a distance of 599 feet to a stake at <br />the North Corner of said 0.51 acre tract of land; <br />Thenc e South 23 Deg. West a distance of 501 feet <br />to a stake in the West Boundary Line of said 5 acre <br />tract of land; <br />Thence South a distance of 381 feet to a stake at <br />the South West Corner of said 5 acre tract of land; <br />Thence South 88 Deg• 40 Min. East a distance of <br />308 feet to a stake in the South East Corner of said <br />5 acre tract of land; <br />Thence South 101 feet to a stake for corner; <br />Thence South 88 Deg. 40 Min. Ea.st 346 feet, more <br />or less, to the place of beginning and containing <br />12.20 acres of land. <br />
