FZFSOLUTION NO. 1436 <br />WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention o.f the City <br />Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, that Tracts 1, 2 <br />and 3, hereinafter described, belonging to Pemco Development <br />Corp., were at its request, by Ordinance No. 1965, passed <br />June 8, 1970, changed from an Agricultural District (A) to a <br />Planned Development District (PD), Shopping Center, in the <br />case of Tract l; from an Agricultural District (A), One-Family <br />Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2) and Heavy Industrial District <br />(HI) to a Planned Development District (PD), Housing Develop- <br />ment or Community Unit Development, in the case of Tract 2; <br />and from an Agricultural District (A) and Heavy Industrial <br />District (HI) to a Planned Development District (PD), <br />Industrial Park or District, in the case of Tract 3; and, <br />WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council that when <br />property re-zoned for the purpose of development to some zon- <br />ing other than that of the adjacent property, that after a <br />reasonable period of time without the proposed development <br />occurring, that said property should be back zoned to the <br />classification it previously had; and, <br />WHEREAS, the property herein being consid ered, is de- <br />scribed in three tracts,as follows: <br />TRACT 1: Situated within the Corporate Limits of <br />the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, <br />a part of the Asa Jarman Survey, and being more parti- <br />cularly described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at a stake for corner in the South <br />Boundary Line of W. Washington St., said point being <br />300 ft. West of the West Boundaxy Line of 13th S. W.; <br />THENCE South a distance of 345 ft. to a stake :Eor <br />corner; <br />THENCE South 58 Deg. West along the center of a <br />Power Line a distance of 210 ft. to a stake for corner; <br />THEIVCE North 42 Deg. West along the center of a <br />ditch a distance of 620 ft. to a stake for corner; <br />THENCE East along the South Boundary Line of W. <br />Washington St. a distance of 595 ft. to the place of <br />beginning, and containing 3.84 acres, more or less. <br />TRACT 2: Situated within the Corporate Limits of <br />the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, <br />a part of the Asa Jarman Survey, and being more parti- <br />cularly described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at a stake for corner at the intersection <br />of the South Boundary Line of W. Washington St. with <br />the West Boundary Line of 13th S. W.; <br />THENC E West along the South Boundary Line of W. <br />Washington St. a distance of 300 ft. to a stake for <br />corner; <br />THENC E South a distance of 345 ft. to a stake for <br />corner ; <br />THENCE South 58 Deg. West along the center of a <br />Power Line a distance of 210 ft. to a stake for corner; <br />THENCE North 42 Deg. West along the center of a <br />ditch a distance of 620 ft. to a stake for corner; <br />
