RESOLUTION NO. 1435
<br />WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City
<br />Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, that the herein-
<br />after described property, belonging to M. S. Kimbell and Clyde
<br />Fry, was at their request, by Ordinance No. 1951, passed
<br />March 9, 1970, changed from a Commercial District (C) to a
<br />Planned Development District, Community Unit Development; and,
<br />WHIIZEAS, it is the opinion of the City Council th at when
<br />property re-zoned for the purpose of development to some zon-
<br />ing other than that of the adjacent property, that after a
<br />reasonable period of time without the proposed development
<br />occurring, that said property should be back zoned to the
<br />classification it previously had; and,
<br />WHEREAS, the property herein being considered, is de-
<br />scribed as follows:
<br />Being all that certain lot, tract or parcel of land
<br />situated in Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and out of the
<br />Redding Russell Survey, and a part of a 90.826 acre
<br />tract conveyed to KRSS Corp. by deed recorded in Vol.
<br />408, Page 334, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, and
<br />being more particularly described as follows:
<br />COMMENCING at an iron stake at the point of inter-
<br />section of the Northeast ROW Line of DeShong Dr. (a 50
<br />foot ROW) and the Northwest ROW Line of Lewis Lane (a
<br />60 foot ROW);
<br />THENCE N. 59° 30' W., 300.00 feet with the Northeast
<br />ROW Line of DeShong Dr. to the true point of beginning;
<br />THENCE N. 50° 30' W., 554.0 feet continuing with the
<br />Northeast ROW Line of DeShong Dr. to a point for corner;
<br />THENCE N. 30° 50' E., 786.5 feet to a point for
<br />cflrner in the Southwest ROW Line of Stone Ave. (a 60
<br />foot ROW);
<br />THENC E S. 59° 30' E., 554.0 feet with the Southwest
<br />ROW Line of Stone Ave. to a point for corner;
<br />THENC E S. 300 50' W., 786.5 feet to the point of
<br />beginning and containing 435,721.0 Sq. Ft. or 10.003
<br />acres of land.
<br />Being a Part of Lot l, City Block 306.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
<br />CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, That the herein described property,
<br />belonging to M. S. Kimbell and Clyde Fry, is hereby referred to
<br />the Planning and Zoning Commission for the purpose of consider-
<br />ing an amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 1710, to change said
<br />property from a Planned Development District, Community Unit
<br />Development, to a Commercial District; and,
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a public hearing be held by
<br />and before the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas,
<br />at 7:00 o'clock P. M., on the 13th day of September, 1971, in
<br />connection with the proposed re-zoning of the above described
<br />property.
