RESOLUTION NO. 1406 , <br />WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the <br />City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, that there <br />is proposed before the 62nd Legislature of the State of <br />Texas, Senate Bill 303, which would create a Public Labor <br />Relations Board and would lead to the requirement that the <br />State and all of its political subdivisions bargain collec- <br />tively with their employees; and, <br />WHEREAS, the best interests of the State of Texas and <br />the City of Paris would not be served by the requirement <br />being placed thereon of collective bargaining; NOW, THERE- <br />FORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXl3S, That it go on record as opposing the passage <br />of Senate Bill 303 by the Legislature of the State of Texas <br />durin g its 62nd Session; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution <br />be delivered to the Honorable Ben Barnes, the Honorable Gus <br />Mutscher, the Honorable A.
