WHEREAS, it is estimated that the cost of development of <br />said land will be $23,000.00; and, <br />WHEREAS, considering the advantages, disadvantages and limi- <br />tations upon the use, and accepting the requirements placed upon <br />such a program, it is deemed that it will be to the best interest <br />of the City of Paris that it embark upon an open-space land pro- <br />gram as so authorized; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That the proposed acquisition and development is in <br />accordance with plans for the allocation of land for open-space <br />uses, and that, should said grant be made, the City of Paxis <br />will acquire, develop and retain said land for the use designated <br />in said application and approved by the Housing and Home Finance <br />Agency. <br />4. That the United States of Aznerica and the Housing and <br />Home Finance Administrator be, and they hereby are, assured of <br />full compliance by the City of Paris with regulations of the <br />Housing and Home Finance Agency effectuating Title VI of the <br />Civil Rights Act of 1964. <br />5. That the United States of America and the Secretary of <br />Housing and Urban Development be, and they hereby are, assured <br />of full compliance by the City of Paris with the Federal labor <br />standards imposed under Title VII of the Housing Act of 1961, <br />as amended. <br />Passed and adopted this 14th day of December, 1970. <br />ATTEST : <br />~ <br />H.~ C.
