1375 RES CITY COUNCIL DEEMS IT ADVISABLE THAT COP JOINTLY PARTICIPATE WITH COUNTY OF LAMAR

RESOLUTION NO. 1375 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, deems it advisable that the City of Paris jointly par- ticipate with the County of Lamar in a proposal to the Texas Water Quality Board for financial assistance in the making of a study of possible County-Wide or Regional Water Pollution Abatement, which study shall be made by the Engineering Firm of Hayter Engineering, Paris, Texas; and, WHERFAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, B. M. Felty, should be authorized to execute any application or agreement in connection with said proposal; and, WHERFAS, the City Manager of the City of Paris, C. L. Walker, should be designated project representative and be authorized to execute and deliver on behalf of the joint par- ticipants the necessary communications, instruments and docu- ments for implementing said study; NOW, THER EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PART:S, TEXAS, That the Mayor, B. M. Felty, be, and he is hereby authorized to enter into an application and agreement with the Texas Water Quality Board for financial assistance in the mak- ing of a study of possible County-Wide or Regional Water Pollution Abatement, authorizing said study to be made by the Engineering Firm of Hayter Engineering, Paris, Texas. AND IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that City Manager C. L. Walker, be, and he is hereby designated project representative and authorized to execute and deliver on behalf of the City of Paris and other joint participants the necessary communica- tions, instruments and documents for implementing a study of possible County-Wide or Regional Water Pollution Abatement.
