RFSOLUTION NO. 1326 <br />WI-iEREAS, the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, has heretofore <br />advertised for bids, on certain terms and conditions, for the <br />sale of the surface grazing rights of Cox Field Airport proper- <br />ties; and, <br />WHEREAS, bids have been received and referred to a <br />Committee of the City Council, and which Committee finds that <br />the bid of S. J. Embry is in accordance with the specifications <br />for bids published and promulgated by the City of Paris, Paris, <br />Texas, for the surface lease of the Cox Field property, and <br />that the same is in the sum of $40,065.00, being $8,013.00 <br />annually, for a term of five (5) years, with an option for re- <br />newal for an additional five years at the same rentals and under <br />the same terms and conditions, said primary term to begin <br />January l, 1970 and end December 31, 1974, which bid is the <br />highest and best bid received; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RFSOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, That the bid proposal of S. J. Embry, be, and <br />the same is hereby declared the highest and best bid for the <br />use of the Cox Field Airport property for grazing purposes, <br />and the Mayor of the City of Paris, R. A. Kennedy, is hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into such lease with the <br />bidder, S. J. Embry. <br />Passed and adopted this 11th day of August, 1969. <br />y" ~P <br />~ls r <br />R.
