RESOLUTION NO. 1325 A RFSOLUTION ORDERING A SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TiiE 23RD DAY OF S EPTEMBER, 1969, THE SAME BEING THE FOURTH TUESDAY IN SEPTEMBER, 1969, BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8:00 O~CLOCK A. M. AND 7;00 O'CLOCK P. M., BY THE QUALIFIED VOTERS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF DETERMINING tnTHETHER ORDINANCE NO. 1913, ANIMAL CONTROL ORDINANCE, SHALL BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFDCT OR REPEALED. BE IT RESOLVED BY T'HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section l. That a special election be held by the quali- fied voters of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, on the 23rd day of September, 1969, the same being the fourth Tuesday in September, 1969, between the hours of 8:00 o'clock A. N. and 7:00 o'clock P. M., for the purpose of determining whether Ordinance No. 1913, Animal Control Ordinance, shall be in full force and effect or repealed, as provided in Sections 107 and 108 of Article X of the Charter of the City of Paris, adopted on November 2, 1948. Section 2, That the polling places and election officials of such election shall be as follows; Ward One (1): Polling Place: Central Fire Station Officials: Mr. W. J. Johnson , Presiding Judge Mrs. R yH. Lower Judge Ward T~vo L2j: Polling Place: Grand Hotel Lobby Officials; Mrs. Hugh Collins _ , Presiding Judge Mrs. Elizabeth Tompkins , Judge Ward Three (3): Polling Place: Lamar County Courthouse Basement Officials: Mrs. W. S. Biard , Presiding Judge Mrs. Fred Shaeffer , Judge Ward Four 4~: Polling Place; Paris High School Gymnasium Officials: Mrs. H. L. Hollis Presiding Judge Mrs. Sam Ausmus , Judge Section 3. The Presiding Judge of the respective voting boxes shall designate and appoint such additional, competent and qualified clerks for such respective polling places and voting boxes as may be required, if any, for the efficient con- duct of said election.
